Sergey Sergeevich Zhiltsov, PhD in Polical Science, Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science and Political Philosophy at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation in Moscow. Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journals “Problems of the Post-Soviet Space” and the Bulletin of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs “Russia and the World”. Research interests include the areas of foreign and domestic policies of the post-Soviet countries, the problems of regional integration in Central Asia and the South Caucasus, foreign and domestic policies of Ukraine and Moldova. The author and co-author of more than 40 articles and 10 monographs on various issues of the Caspian region.
