Abstract

Choline acetyltransferase (ChAT) is an enzyme produced in the central nervous system. This protein is synthesized in the body of cholinergic nerve cells, from where it is then transported to the axonal endings. Most probably, this transport takes place on a fast and slow road.

Keywords: choline acetyltransferase, renal terminals, enzymes, biochemistry
