Dr. Zhang received his MD from the Norman Bethune School of Medicine, Jilin University, Changchun, China. He also obtained his PhD from New York University School of Medicine and MPH from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Pathology and Preventive Medicine (Occupational Medicine) at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. Dr. Zhang is Attending Pathologist at Mount Sinai Hospital and Professor of Pathology and Oncological Sciences and Associate Professor of Environmental Medicine & Public Health. He is specialized in Occupational Medicine with strong interest in occupational related cancer and muscle skeletal disorders. He also specialized in the Pathology with subspecialties in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and Molecular Pathology. Dr. Zhang is currently practice both diagnostic pathology and occupational medicine. Dr. Zhang’s research interest is in the cancer biology.
