The United States is experiencing an ongoing wildfire crisis. Fires, including some of the largest wildfires in the history of the United States, have engulfed millions of acres of wildlands over the past decade causing extensive property damage and resulting in loss of life. Wildfires are expected to continue growing in size and destructive potential in the foreseeable future.
