My scientific collaboration with NOVA Science Publishers began in 2014 with a chapter in one of there books on celiac disease. Because everything went so well with that project, I decided to contribute a chapter to a book that they began work on in November, 2015. Everything went well with that project too, although as an author it is sometimes hard to wait while everything gets done and the book finally is published. Perhaps something could be done to speed up that process from when the final drafts of the manuscripts are submitted until the b
ook appears as an ebook and/or in print. Be that as it may, I have been happy to have the opportunity to work with NOVA Science Publishers.

I have now had the opportunity to work with the experts at Nova Science Publishers for the past 2 1/2 years. They have been gracious enough to publish two books which I have co-edited: Pediatric Diabetic Ketoacidosis
and Essential Guide to Clinical Neonatology. Both of these projects have involved a significant number of authors and at least 2 editors. The ‘Essential Guide’ has 74 chapters and 47 authors. With each project, each of the editors we worked with were cordial, patient, well organized and thoughtful.

I wanted to report that our colleagues who have seen and worked with the ‘Essential Guide’ have been very impressed with the presentation: “It is beautiful” and the way the content is it presented: I have referred to this book “a thousand times” in the past few days and have found it very easy to use. I have received positive feedback from NICU nurses, residents, neonatal nurse practitioners and attending neonatologists in the past week since I have distributed copies to the two NICUs.

Thanks for making putting these two books together a most positive and enjoyable experience.
