Shah Kabir has had four decades of experience in the oil industry, besides teaching at the U. of Houston. His expertise includes performance forecasting in unconventional reservoirs, pressure- and rate-transient analysis, among other items. He published over 130 articles and two books and became an Honorary Member of SPE/AIME in 2016.
