Shalin Hai-Jew, PhD

Dr. Shalin Hai-Jew works as an instructional designer and researcher at Kansas State University. Prior, she taught at college and university levels for many years and concluded that part of her life as a tenured professor at a college in Washington State. She has published research on various professional topics for years. She reviews for a number of publishers in the areas of education, AI, and other fields. She lived and worked in the People’s Republic of China for four years as a college instructor (1988 – 1990, 1992 – 1994). She is a published poet. She earned B.A.s in English and psychology and an M.A. in English from the University of Washington in Seattle and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Seattle University. At the UW, she was a Hugh Paradise Scholarship recipient, and at Seattle University, she was a Morford Scholar fellow. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama, in the U.S. She dabbles in common art in her spare time.
